libfixposix-dev software package provides Replacement for inconsistent parts of POSIX (development), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfixposix-dev
libfixposix-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfixposix-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfixposix-dev *
You will get with libfixposix-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
